i know the people in Osaka speak kansai-ben.
the kansai dialect.
teppei speaks it too!
ahh i always feel so happy trying to spot his accent when he speaks.

yupp!
"kansai-ben" stands for the kansai dialect.
lovely complex was so different from other movies whereby those actors speak the standard japanese!
it gives a different feeling.

mm as for osaka..
i have no idea what its like!
according to wikipedia, osaka is a rather developed city (i think)
and it also states that Godzilla has destroyed Osaka in two of the movies.

yupp yupp!
if you listen carefully you'll know the difference.
"chigau" becomes "chau".
standard japanese's "idiot" is "baka", while kansai-ben's "aho".
and i find it cute that in the kansai dialect, they add a lot of "hen" behind their speeches which i haven found out the purpose yet.
haha kansai dialect sounds more harsh and its more accented!

's relatisevs and frens from Osaka.

and he accidently spoke out some kansai-ben.
which was rather cute!

i would definitely like to learn the kansai accent cuz its so unique~

i think there isnt a place that teaches us "kansai-ben"
guess we have to learn it ourselves.
ngaahaha i guess Osaka is a rather happening place,
since its quite big too~
